Was referred to this doc. Before my procedure I went into Afib and could not come off my blood thinner. His office told me to call back when I could to reschedule. I now get a letter saying I didn't follow through with his recommendations and he no longer wants me as a patient. Pretty crappy patient care.

About 4 years ago I would have given him 5 stars in fact I sent flowers after getting me in quickly twice for a colonoscopy (I flew in from NC for the second) I had precancer polyp and was told how luck I was. Two years ago I had an endoscopy and have gerd. Im on medication forever? Was told last April he would like to have a liver scan done because I had fatty liver and he wanted to see if I was getting worse or better. While sitting waiting I read my paperwork and it said I am an alcoholic! (I am far from that) Well I had the scan and on my way home I called the office for an appointment to talk about this and get the results. Well they told me dont call us we will call you when he reads the results. I have them but dont know how to read them. I want to see my doctor. So I am on the hunt up where I live now for a new doctor to perhaps go over these tests.

I highly recommend Dr. J Khan. He is very patient and understanding, very thorough. He takes his time and listens to you. Yes, sometimes he does run late, however, that is because he may be tending to another patient who has an emergency or complicated matter.

(He took almost an hour with me when I was having gallbladder issues, made sure I was well taken care of, had the staff set up my hospital, everything).

Highly recommend, and I am a pain in the neck and picky when it comes to doctors.

I went to Dr. Jaffer Kahn because I needed to have a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. He really takes the time to talk to you about the procedure and explain the results. I'm one that writes down the questions I want to ask and he will answer every one. He's also very respectful and thorough and is just an all-around nice person. He even has a great sense of humor! His staff is very respectful and personable as well. The nurses were just great. They make you feel comfortable through everything. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a Gastroenterologist to go see them.

Dr Khan is a really nice doctor, takes his time with you, and is very proactive.He has finally found a diagnosis and treatment plan for me. I was bounced around for a few years between doctors. Trying to diagnose me.. His office staff are really nice too and if it’s an active problem they fit you in.

I arrived 10 minutes early for paperwork. After completing, I waited over an hour past my original appointment time before being taken back to the exam room. After the nurse weighed me and took my blood pressure, I was left in the exam room for another 35 minutes. At one point, I got up and asked the staff if I could reschedule. They informed me the doctor was running "a little late" and would be right in. When Dr. Khan finally came in, he did not listen to me or take time to review my history. Even with my chart right in front of him, he didn't get many details about my medical history correct. The final straw was when he wrote orders for tests and blood work with the WRONG patient name. I told the staff to cancel everything and I would not return.

Dr. Jaffer Khan is outstanding and he plays close attention to detail! For the past 6 months I've been dealing with fractures in my back for no apparent reason and Dr. Khan explored every possibility he knew to do to find the cause ruling out Celiac disease. I highly recommend him!
