If I could give minus stars I would... These people are a joke. We showed up and were treated like garbage. No smile, no congrats, not “thanks for your business” NOTHING! Oh wait there was something. Complete and utter judgment. Said we didn’t take all the meat. (We deboned it our selves because we were way in the back country) Said the meat was gonna be “dirty as S%#£” (even though we kept most of it on bags) when we went to pick it up one of the family said the game warden was looking for us ? (I have pictures of all the quarters and backstraps/neck meat hangin in a tree) told us there should be 350lbs of meat (everything we looked up on regs said 200-250lbs from a mature bull)
I confronted the man that treated us like garbage and asked if we did something to offened him when we showed up the morning before and at that moment the whole family came out and even the old man (father I assume) came out and started at me, bowed up like he was gonna hit me... THIS IS NUTS!!! I said a curse word (not my norm) and the son said “there is a lady present” hmmmm the day before he was cussing in front of his daughter. Can we say double standard!!! All in all, these are a bunch of small town, angry, not pleasant people. Trying to fight someone because they called you out on your customer service shows that these people are arrogant, uninformed, uneducated, unpleasant and should not have an opportunity to work with peoples hard earned trophy’s! STAY AWAY from these people. There is a processor in “Montrose” you should use instead. I’m not even sure if they gave us all out meat.
Side note, someone should open a processor in Gunnison and treat people with respect. Everyone would come to you. A smile goes a long way. The only smile we saw was when one of the employees was mocking us. Shame on this whole company.
