Die Weine sind Geschmacksache, wie immer. Leider werden für das Tasting Plastikbecher benützt.
Der Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc ist hervorragend.

Der Wein ist teilweise gut, teilweise überhaupt nicht, dafür ist alles sehr teuer. Der Service ist definitiv schlecht und vor allem für die ansonsten vorbildlichen amerikanischen Verhältnisse völlig inakzeptabel. Ich kann mich der letzten Rezensentin nur anschließen. Wir werden unser Geld lieber woanders in Wein investieren.

We had a chance to visit in 2023 and could not wait to come back the next fall season. Their wine selection is broad the taste simply amazing. You’ll enjoy the property that has comfortable seating all around and over a dozen picnic tables set by the shoreline overlooking the bay. #checkoutthecandles

Wow beautiful! As you drive up to the vineyard you are greeted with rows and rows of vines. The large open space of the winery was nice and had two floors as well. There were some tables with benches and others were standing room only. They have a good wine selection as well as Greenport beers for people with different tastes. They have a huge outdoor lawn space to walk or sit and they have a nice view of the sound.

The winery is absolutely stunning, and the location with its yard and direct view onto the sea truly is unbeatable. They even had live music. I personally did not love any of their wines. They definitely are not on the “lovely” side. I wish the server would have talked a little more about their wines in general.

Beautiful vineyard and tasting room. The property is gorgeous and you can walk up to cliff-like area for a nice view of the water. I’m told that on clear days you can see it from the tasting room even.
The tasting room is very nice. There’s a good amount of tables and it’s first-come-first-serve. There is no table service so we went up to the bar to order. They have a good selection, the prices were ok. Average for the area. The people behind the bar were very nice and didn’t rush us to make decisions.
They have a big property but don’t utilize it really, there’s just some picnic tables scattered around. I wish they had a bar outside or at least some better way to get drinks to the farthest tables. It seems very family friendly as there were a lot of children when we visited, but there are no games outside games or anything despite the large outdoor space.
Some reviews mention some type of entry fee but when we went (july 2024) there was no fee. However it’s possible that this is for reservations. We just walked in and there was no issue.
Overall it was nice, i’d go back. I just feel there is more potential.

We only came here because we were staying at northfork cottages and could ride our bikes.

The staff was not friendly and the wine was eh. The only thing we liked was the gorgeous views!

We had children with us and it was almost as if they were annoyed (I did call ahead and ask first). We brought activities to keep them busy, they were never a bother to anyone else. They said they cannot move tables to accommodate our party of 10, okay. As we were trying to figure out where to sit (it was raining outside) they were literally moving tables for live music. They could have easily moved a table over a few more inches so we could all sit together.

Same when ordering, I felt like I was bothering them, I was trying to ask questions but could read the vibe and just picked something I thought I would like.

I am not sure why there is a bunch of negative reviews. But my boyfriend made reservations as a surprised and we had an absolutely amazing time. Wine was great. We each had a flight and brought a Cab Sauvignon. DELICIOUS! I can almost taste as I am writing this review. The view was impeccable. We got to see the sunset, so romantic. I couldn’t ask for a better date. Please bring your significant other, as we were entering a lot of families were existing and it seemed to me they had a lovely time.
The view is worth the drive, I promise.
