I’ve attached more photos of my nails, it’s been less than two weeks and they’re completely starting to chip. Russian manicure that’s supposed to last several weeks has started to completely chip off in less than 2 ?
But of course, according to Lisa Kon, “it’s my fault not the technician’s” ?

Based on their Instagram, you would think that this was a high quality professional salon. It’s far from that. I recently moved to California and thought I’d give them a try. The lady doing my pedicure, hurt me 3 times on the same spot on my toe. I paid for a top master (which is more expensive) and two days after my manicure, my nails were already starting to chip at the ends. On top of that, I had a nail that was breaking, and instead of cutting it off and adding a tip, like I requested multiple times, she chose to use the gel polish to glue the nail together. The day after my manicure the nail cracks again, as expected. I had to drive an hour and a half back to LA from Newport two days later to get these issues fixed.

Getting these issues fixed the second time only made my nails worse. She very clearly rushed on my nails and didn’t properly file away the polish and redo it. My nails are SO thick and bumpy. You can see where the new nail polish starts because of the bump. When asking them to fix that, the response I got was “this is the best she can do because she wasn’t your original technician and she’s not a top pro” … so my first technician didn’t do a good job and the second technician won’t do a good job either because she didn’t initially do my nails? And even though I paid for a top pro, you’re going to tell me that she can’t fix my nails properly because this lady isn’t a top pro? This combined with the fact that they don’t even offer you a water for a 3 hour appointment is crazy to me. I have been getting Russian manicures every month for the past two years, this place was just straight up unprofessional.
Save your money and go somewhere else, guaranteed you will get better service and nail job. Don’t waste your time here like I had to do

The whole experience was amazing. They booked me last minute and she went above and beyond. My nails look beautiful and are more than what I ever thought I was going to get. They are lightweight but functional ( as a person who is not used to having nails done regularly) while other places the nails have felt very heavy. Will be coming back! 🙂

Overpriced & under experienced. Gave this place 3 tries, once the tech cut me. Another time she did a “strengthener” without telling me which was a whopping $30 upgrade. Final time my nails were thick and just not great for the price. Techs don’t speak English which makes it hard to communicate. Better nail places at much better prices around. Won’t be going back.

Finally, I found a salon where they do the perfect Russian manicure! My manicure is already a month old and it's still great. I liked the service and the master was very professional. I will definitely come back ♥️

8 days after my manicure my nails still look better than they would have anywhere else and I do dishes without gloves, spend a ton of time in the garden, and generally tinker around the house in ways that will ruin a manicure.

This place is magical and pristine.

I love this nail salon. Easy parking with meters along the street. Professional and clean. Tatiana is my go to girl for hard gel refill manicures, she is great with designs, including stickers, stamping and art. I show her a picture of what i want and she goes above and beyond to make sure I love my nails.
