Amazing veterinary hospital! Our dog's dew claw snapped back and needed to be bandaged. The staff was super friendly and managed to get our dog comfortable, which is quite impressive as we have a very anxious dog.

Afterwards our dog had trouble sleeping and they gave expert advice over the phone on how to handle it.

Can't recommend this veterinary hospital enough.

All of the staff was AMAZING with my sweet boy, Murphy. They were all so reassuring and gentle with him. When they sent us home after his surgery they made sure that I understood all of his aftercare instructions and medications. The directions on his discharge sheet were very clear and well written. I never felt like a burden about calling for updates or with questions. They were always so kind and happy to explain. Absolutely adore them.

My favorite emergency clinic, I’ve taken both my dogs here and have always received wonderful care for good pricing. The tech Mikayla was the highlight of my visit and I think she deserves a round of applause, she made me and my dog feel safe and clearly takes pride in her job , hearing how she talks to the animals was absolutely the best as I knew that my dog would feel safe with her even with his severe anxiety, she treats them as if they were her own. The doctor was also amazing they were very helpful in explaining different thing that may be the cause of what was going on and was so nice. They also helped me stay in the budget I was able to provide as a college student. This is an amazing place I highly recommend

My golden retriever was suffering with severe vomiting and my regular vet recommended the emergency vet. I was able to see a vet almost immediately and given pricing and treatment options. She felt my dog looked go enough to give him anti-nausea medication and some fluids. I had the option of x rays and blood work, but it was not pushed. I felt they were very caring and transparent about all the things offered My dog is fine and they called after a couple of days to check on him. I would highly recommend them.

Overall okay experience. We went in for a dog bite wound on my dog and we were able to be seen right away. Staff also seemed knowledgeable. Only a 3 star rating because the room we were in was dirty- there was dried blood on the floor. Also, the vet technician that first came in acted scared of our small dog just because he barked when she knocked. He was in an unfamiliar area after just being attacked so of course he’s going to be more on edge and alert. She was scared to approach him because he barked and said she was unsure if he was territorial. After she entered the room our dog was just laying down on the chair sleeping so it was disappointing that she didn’t try to introduce herself to our dog so they could meet before jumping to conclusions about him being “aggressive”. We also were there for way longer than we should have been with little communication about what was taking so long. My dog had a bite wound that didn’t require any surgery/sutures and we were there for over 2 hours where most of the time was just waiting in the room. Just would have been nice to been given more updates and to have a staff that was more friendly to our scared pup.

Hopefully you would never need emergency care for your pet but if you ever do I highly recommend Ft. Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital.

I have taken both of my dogs here (one more so than the other) and I have always received the best of care. Every staff member is so kind and helpful. I am usually a nervous wreck when there is something going on with my dogs, they are my world, and every time I go in everyone is so reassuring and communicative that I know I have them in the best hands.
